3 colours: denim

Back in June 2012 (see Candle Chaos entry) I sewed buttons of the same colour into a heart shape with the view to putting them on a bag but never felt quite sure in what way I was going to use them. However, I have recently made a small clutch bag with three colours of denim taken from the legs of light blue, medium blue and black jeans.  I really liked the effect so have decided to continue this theme on a bigger bag and hey presto realised that I can use the heart motif as a centre "patch".  So at present I am using the pink/purple heart patch with light blue, mid blue and pink jean strips. This month (as with last month) I have been pretty inspired with my sewing:the flow is really back which is lovely.I have also had several kind donations of materials and a groovy craft book which all act as stimuli for my creativity.  Many thanks y'all.
